We recommend reviewing your EV’s owner’s manual to see which chargers are recommended for your model of EV. Also, it’s important to consult with your electrician to discuss the charger you’ve selected prior to making that purchase.
I have the knowledge and skills to wire my home or business for a 220V outlet for my Level 2 charger. Can I still qualify for the rebate?
Yes — if you can document you spent $250 or more for your charger. Also, you will need to submit a copy of your electrical permit from the local jurisdiction in which you are located, and a copy of the final approval from the electrical inspector assigned to your area for the work done.
I’d like to install a Level 2 charging station at my business. Do businesses qualify for this program?
Yes. The rebate is limited to one per location. Business, industrial, and residential customers all qualify for this rebate, and it may be used to help with the cost of installing a Level 2 charger at rentals and multifamily dwellings.
