We don’t think of ourselves as a business but as a utility company owned by the people we serve. However, we realize that doing business with us means understanding the policies, procedures and standards that guide our operations. Our Customer Service Policies listed below deal with transactional things like stopping and starting service, billing and payment options, and other things account related. You’ll also find information on bill payment assistance and the collection cycle.

If you’re building a new home, planning to increase your usage or make changes to your existing service, you’ll want to consult our Single-Family Residential Guidelines & Standards. For commercial establishments and new projects including multi-family residential service, refer to the Commercial Service Guidelines & Standards. There’s also a Line Extension Policy that will clarify our mutual responsibilities.
