Contractor to furnish labor and equipment to provide professional landscape services for the Newport Headquarters, Northern Operations Center (NOC) office facilities and four (4) substations. Services will be performed in a manner not to obstruct our customers or employees from their daily duties. This will be a three-year contract beginning on July 1, 2022 and continuing until June 30, 2025. The qualified company and employees must be licensed, bonded and insured.

To obtain a copy of the Bid form, and project specifications, contractors or their representatives must attend a mandatory project pre-bid meeting, which will be conducted, Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Interested parties may meet with project manager Wade Carey at that time. Please note, all interested parties planning to attend the walk-through, must email stating their company’s intent to attend. Contractors must respond no later than 24 hours prior to the project pre-bid meeting with the intent to attend confirmation. If a contractor fails to notify the District of their intention to participate in the walk-through, a Bid package will not be prepared for them. Bid packages will not be mailed, prior to, or after the project pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid meeting will be the only time a contractor is able to obtain the complete Bid package and meet with the Manager at the job site prior to award.

Contractors that would like to be on the bidders list must be pre approved prior to the mandatory project pre-bid meeting. To get on the bidders list or for more information on this project contact Jennifer Watkins at 541-574-2063.

Note: No bid documents, or specifications, will be submitted to any plan centers.

In order for a bid to be accepted and considered for award of a contract, the submitted bids must comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) regulating contract work for people’s utility districts.

Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120.

The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so.
