Central Lincoln PUD requests a proposal for one (1), 2021 or newer 47-foot sheave height utility digger derrick. The proposed unit must meet all applicable state and federal DOT safety and transportation standards. The digger derrick must not require any overweight, over height, or length permits for normal daily routine operations. Vendor must provide pre-delivery inspection and dielectric test certificates.
Vendor submitting proposal must be the actual vendor, installer, and builder of brand proposed for a minimum of the last five years. Proposer must also have an established (minimum 3 years) full warranty service and complete overhaul center in the greater Portland area.
Detailed information and the RFP package may be obtained from the Purchasing Department at Central Lincoln People’s Utility District at 2129 North Coast Highway, Newport, Oregon or 541-574-2020. At the above date, time, and place the District will publicly open proposals.
In order for a proposal to be accepted and considered for award of a contract, the submitted proposals must comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) regulating contract work for people’s utility districts and CLPUD’s Procurement Policy dated April 15, 2020, Article X – Request for Proposal.
The District may reject any proposals not in compliance with all prescribed public RFPs procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so.
Formal sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Department of Central Lincoln People’s Utility District at P.O. Box 1126, Newport, Oregon 97365 until 2:00pm on the 21st day of April, 2021 and not thereafter.
