Central Lincoln is proud to celebrate 82 years of being your community-owned public power utility as of May 5, 2025! Since beginning operations in 1943, we have been dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and affordable electricity. Initially sourcing power from local facilities, we partnered with BPA in 1946 to significantly enhance our capacity and maintain low rates. Growing from nearly 5,000 to over 41,000 customers, our commitment to local control, transparency, and community service has only strengthened. Today, with 133 dedicated employees, we continue to offer exceptional value with some of the lowest rates in the region, reflecting our ongoing commitment to put your needs first.
