Each year, Central Lincoln employees participate in high school career fairs across our service area. They bring a wealth of information and enthusiasm, eager to help students explore

their post-graduation options. Students often look forward to meeting and conversing with our linemen and tree trimmers, interested in understanding what it takes to pursue such roles. However, they are often surprised to learn about the wide variety of roles and the many people required to keep an electric utility like ours running around the clock every day of the year.

Central Lincoln boasts a diverse team of 133 dedicated employees:

• 7 on the Executive Team
• 49 in Operations
• 32 in Engineering
• 26 in Shared Services
• 19 in Employee, Customer, and Community Services

The Executive Team is composed of our general manager, the directors of operations, engineering, shared services, and customer, employee, and community services, along with the senior project manager and the executive assistant.

The Operations Department is the backbone of our fieldwork, encompassing line and tree crews, operations assistants, fleet and safety coordinators, and a right-of-way supervisor.

Engineering is staffed with electrical, civil, telecommunications, and associate engineers, SCADA technicians, utility mappers, joint use specialists, distribution engineering technicians, substation wiremen, communications systems craftsmen, and metermen.

Shared Services supports our infrastructure with IT and network engineers, GIS and AMI administrators, business analysts, controller and accounting staff, purchasing, materials, and storekeepers.

Finally, Employee, Customer, and Community Services houses our customer service representatives, communications, energy services, human resources, and facilities and maintenance teams.

From the high-voltage lines to the friendly voices over the phone, it takes a diverse and dedicated team to ensure Central Lincoln meets the needs of our communities every day. Our employees come from various backgrounds and specialties, each bringing their unique skills.
