Rate Increase Effective July 1, 2023
Rate increases are not a decision your Central Lincoln Board of Directors makes lightly. However, with inflation affecting equipment purchases, and the need to increase our wildfire mitigation, the Board voted to increase residential electric service rates 3%, and street and yard lighting rates 5%.
The residential energy charge will go from 7.85¢ per kilowatt hour (kWh) to 8.06¢ per kWh. The Service Availability Charge will go from $26 to $27 monthly. This charge assists with the cost of providing and maintaining infrastructure (substations, transformers, poles, lines, etc.) to every customer location.
Central Lincoln rates remain some of the lowest in the state of Oregon, and well below the national average. For information on all rates, please visit our Rate Schedules web page.
