Each month, there are people in our service area who need help with their electric bills due to varying circumstances. Central Lincoln has several programs for customers to help those in need. Although our programs are open for donations year-round, December is the month customers most frequently ask, “How can I help?”

Secret Helpers

Do you have a family member, friend or neighbor who is struggling financially? You can help through our Secret Helpers program.

To make a donation, mail a check, as well as a note with the name and physical address of the Central Lincoln customer you wish to help, to: Central Lincoln PUD, PO Box 1126, Newport, OR 97365. Please include your phone number in case we need any additional information from you. You can also drop off a donation check and note at one of our office locations.

Project Care

Our Project Care program has multiple donation options and all funds donated are turned over to local service agencies for distribution to qualifying Central Lincoln customers.

One-Time Donation: Simply write the amount you wish to donate in the ‘Project Care Donation’ box on your electric bill remittance stub. Add your donation amount to the amount due and write a check for the total. If you prefer to make your donation through a separate check, please make the check payable to ‘Project Care.’

Round Up: Each month, your electric bill is rounded up to the next dollar amount. For example, a bill of $55.54 would be rounded up to $56 and that extra 46¢ would go directly to Project Care. To sign up for Round Up, please call us at (877) 265-3211 or email customersvc@cencoast.com. Unfortunately, this option is not available to customers participating in Budget Billing or Prepaid.

Monthly Pledge: Simply select an amount you would like to donate each month and we’ll automatically add that amount to your monthly bill. To sign up, call us at (877) 265-3211 or email customersvc@cencoast.com.
