Electric car and SUV drivers often say that driving electric is an entirely different experience, from fueling to maintenance, but what exactly do they mean?
Find out from the instructors at “rEV Up”— a class offered online at no cost to participants by the Emerald Valley Electric Vehicle Association, and supported by Central Lincoln and other Oregon utilities. Participants are welcome to ask questions during and after each session.
A rEV Up session is planned for May 17, and a June class will also be available by signing up at revuporegon.org. rEV Up participants are often offered incentives from
area car dealers as well.
rEV Up classes generally take about an hour, and include information about:
- considerations when shopping for an EV
- state and federal incentives for EV purchasing or leasing
Can’t attend rEV Up for May or June? Instructors promise to offer more sessions in the fall.
