We don’t think of ourselves as a business because as a community-owned utility, we’re owned by the people we serve.  But we realize that doing business with us, means understanding the policies, procedures and standards that guide our operations.  You’ll find everything you need to know on these pages and if you still have questions; you can always email us at or give us a call at 877-265-3211.

If you’re building a new home or business, or planning to increase your usage or make changes to your existing service, you’ll want to consult our Electric Service Guidelines and Standards.  Please note that most of the information you’ll find applies to both residential and commercial installations; however, there are some differences and in general, the guidelines and standards that apply to commercial installations also apply to multi-family residential service.  There’s also a Line Extension Policy that will clarify our mutual responsibilities.
