Every three years we ask an outside company to survey our customers randomly. An equal number of customers will be surveyed from each of our five subdivisions, which are balanced by population as required by Oregon law. Those subdivisions are: customers in Douglas and Coos counties, those in Florence and Dunes City, those from South Beach to Yachats and southeast to Mapleton and Swisshome, folks in Newport, and those in Toledo, Siletz, Depoe Bay, Otter Rock, and Lincoln Beach.
Are you satisfied with the service we provide? Has that level of satisfaction increased, decreased, or stayed the same? How do you like to receive information from Central Lincoln? These questions and others will be asked by third party phone surveyors, who live and work here in Oregon, and will be calling from a 503 or 541 (Oregon) phone number.
The names of the customers surveyed will be kept confidential by our consultant, and not shared with Central Lincoln. We want customers to give their honest impressions. We also want to know if you feel there are areas in which we can improve, and how you would like us to do that. So, we hope you will participate if you receive a call.
In May, our survey will also be available online for those who weren’t called directly (not all of our 32,000 customers will be surveyed) who wish to give us their thoughts and impressions about the service we provide. More info about the online version of the survey to come in the May Coastlines.
