Ever stood in line only to wait while a customer service rep helped someone else on the phone?
As we reviewed ways we could be more responsive to our customers, we realized dedicating some of our existing customer service representatives to answering your calls would be more efficient – and more effective.
You’ll still be able to stop by our offices in Florence, Newport, and Reedsport to talk with a customer service rep in person. If you call in, your call will first be routed to our new call center in Newport. If those customer service representatives are all helping other customers via phone, your call will be answered in our Florence or Reedsport offices.
“Our goal is to answer customer calls the first time a customer calls us, hopefully within five minutes or less,” said Customer Service Supervisor Irene King. “I think customers phoning in will really like our faster service, and folks waiting in line in person will be served more quickly, too.”
Our office numbers are on the back of every Central Lincoln bill, and our online services are available 24/7 at clpud.org.
